It is often the case that there are numerous dental practices located in fairly close proximity, giving patients plenty of choice over who they choose to entrust their care to. I always advise my clients to know what their competition are doing on their social media accounts. The trick is not to copy – remember that your prospective patients may already be following your competition so copying will probably look very obvious – just keep a watchful eye out to help you gather useful information.
Gaining the knowledge of what offers and events they may be running, and learning from knowing what posts are working for them, and what ones aren’t can be extremely useful. From this you can form a basis for how you approach your own social media marketing, using hindsight from your competition to give you a bit of a headstart.
